The Hot Chili pepper suet cakes attracted birds, and deterred squirrels. These cakes work better to deter squirrels from the feeders than a strong scented pepperminy oil spray. The squirrels were unphased by the peppermint oil application to peanuts soaked in it. They still ate the peanuts.

really helpful staff! we accidentally wandered in while look for the museum of dirt. the blonde lady gave us a fantastic burrito recommendation. my husband said the burrito was fantastic! good selection as well!

Went in for a squirrel feeder, left with such a fun one as well as some Bark Butter and a cute feeder to put it on. Can't wait to see what birds it attracts. Every employee came up to me individually with stories & pictures of the interesting birds they had feeding on it in their yards. One even had Cara Caras!

Wild Birds Unlimited on Bee Caves Road is my mom’s happy place—she keeps 8 or 9 feeders at home, so this is her go-to spot for the 20 lb. No-Mess Blend the birds love. The store is bright, welcoming, and packed with high-quality feeders, seed blends, and gifts for nature lovers. The staff is always friendly and full of great birding tips. Convenient location (though Bee Caves can be busy at rush hour), and the membership discounts are worth it. After you visit, pop by Barton Springs Nursery or grab a coffee at Summer Moon nearby—perfect Austin afternoon!

Lots of options for houses AND apartments. Lots of ideas for what to get on my balcony since my cats love to birdwatch so much. Great selection of feeds, feeders, and nectars. Will be coming back for sure
